The children of KCCB are part of the church family. As such we seek to encourage them to have a secure understanding of biblical truth, to know God as their loving Father, to value the Holy Spirit and to use their gifts to build up one another in the body of Jesus.
On a Sunday Morning following a time of worship as a whole church family, we meet together in small groups. Whizzkids is the group for school years R-2 and Y-Zone is for school years 3-6. The 2 groups meet in rooms next to each other and have a varied programme led by a great team of regular teachers who get to know and value the children as individuals and are supported faithfully by helpers. In our times together we learn through song, story, video, fun, games, discussion, prayer, quiet times and noisy times!
Once a month the children’s groups come together as a single group for a fun time of worship, craft, story and mess that we call Lighthouse.
As well as our time on Sunday, we have a mid week Cell Group for school years 3-6, where we socialise, eat and worship together. It lasts about an hour and at the moment is on a Thursday.
As a team we seek to ensure each child, whatever their age or ability is valued for who they are and for them to know their identity as sons and daughters of the Living God. If you would like to know more then we would love for you to get in touch or, better still, come along one Sunday to meet us.
