church is for all ages
being family together
Church is for all ages! Jesus loves everyone - there are no age limits. More than that, the Bible shows us that Jesus valued children very highly - and He still does!
At King's, we want to children know they are loved, valued and have a purpose. We want them to be equipped to deal with the pressures of growing up today and to be able to serve God where they are - in school, in family, among their friends and more.
But most of all we want them to have fun and enjoy getting to know Father God for themselves and to be able to worship and glorify Jesus full of Holy Spirit.
On Sundays, after a time of all age worship, the children and young people go to one of our classrooms to enjoy being together and receive biblical teaching. All of the team working with our children are DBS checked and experienced in children’s work.
On Sundays we offer a supervised creche facility
for children aged 0-5, overseen by our friendly volunteers. Children are always welcome to stay with their parents while they listen to the sermon, or you can bring them to the creche room to be supervised by one of our lovely creche leaders, or even stay and play with them.
While in their group, the children will hear a bible story and have both free play and age appropriate
organised activity time.
Primary aged children (and youth not quite ready to stay in to listen to the main sermon on a Sunday) meet together in one of the classrooms. We provide a drink and a snack and share highlights of the week with each other before looking at a bible passage. Children will have an opportunity to reflect on the passage through different activities appropriate for their age group
Our 3rd Sunday of the month is given over to a range of activities with many specifically for primary aged children. There are craft, stories and other opportunities for fun available from 10:30 to 12. Free refreshments are available throughout for both children and parents. A free cold-buffet lunch is served afterward.
