"your kingdom come, your will be done"
We enjoy being in the presence of God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Being in God's presence and adoring Him is our very purpose. Spending time with God, both alone and with one another, changes us, encourages us, builds us and enables us to see more clearly. "The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth" (Psalm 145:18)

What a huge privilege - to be able to communicate with Almighty God, creator of heaven and earth, whenever and wherever we want to.
Jesus taught us how to pray in the Gospel of Matthew:
“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
"When I pray, coincidences happen, and when I don’t, they don’t." William Temple
"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests" (Ephesians 6:18). Prayer takes priority. It is given to be our steering wheel, not our spare tire. Prayer is the most important aspect of personal and church-life. That is why as a Church, we will prioritise prayer every time we meet together. Our mid-week groups are all learning about, and spending time in, prayer
God loves it when we spend time with Him, worshiping Him and chatting with Him. He loves to talk to us too and to answer our requests. In fact, He invites us to bring requests to Him. "I call on you, my God, for you will answer me; turn your ear to me and hear my prayer." (Psalm 17:6)
